Greetings and Happy November

Firstly, I must apologize for being so out of touch (yes, I’m aware that most of my letters begin in this fashion). It’s been a busy few months of writing, recording, and gigging so I thought it time to touch base and play a little catch up.

LIVE SHOWS

I’m excited to say that I’ll be playing downtown on New Years Eve from 8:00pm to 11:00pm at the myriad gardens venue. Opening Night is always an exciting evening with dozens of talented acts, so come out and support your local artists. You can also catch me at Penn Square mall on December 26 from 4:20pm to 4:50pm for a special half hour Opening Night preview; more specifics to come.

Also, for those of you in Norman I’ll be playing at Othello’s on December 10 for an hour set beginning at 7:00. I know it’s a busy time of year with the Holidays and finals, but I rarely play in Norman so I hope I’ll see some familiar faces!

WRITING/RECORDING

2009 has been an incredibly prolific year; my catalogue of music has increased by some 30 songs already and there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of inspiration from my muse. My style has continued to evolve from its pop/rock origins and electronic experimentation into something much more organic; the acoustic guitar has become so much more than merely my pencil and paper for songwriting.

So here it is…the BIG NEWS

I’ll be heading back into the studio this December with my good friend Graham Colton to record a new E.P. Graham and I have already begun pre-production and with the input of Blackwatch Producers Chad Copelin and Jarod Evans, my expectations are high.

My friends, this holiday season is shaping up to be an exciting one so stay tuned! Bless you for your patience and support.

More to come,

Jamie
